Waiting Parents: Michael and Sandra
We are Mike and Sandra and we are best friends and soul mates. We were instantly close because of our similar backgrounds and upbringing in large families. Sandra is a native Texan and Mike was born and raised in New York. We have an amazing support system, loving families, and we have each other. We talk about everything and sometimes nothing at all and still manage to have fun doing it.
Why we want to adopt
We have always dreamed of being parents. We are an aunt and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, a godmother (three times) and parents to our fur baby Maggie. When we were young, our homes were filled with love, laughter, warmth and happiness, and we want to recreate that environment for our little family. We want to experience the joy, the highs, and lows and everything in between that comes with raising children. We are SO excited to be on this journey to start our family.

Home sweet home
We live in a 2000-acre master planned community. Our community is very kid-friendly; there are plenty of open spaces and parks. In fact, we have a playground right next door that is always full of families and children! Community amenities include a swim center featuring a resort-quality pool, tennis court, and 24-hour fitness center, miles of hiking trails, lush shaded parks, a dynamic children play area and a swimming pool and splash pad. The new elementary school is within walking distance to our house.
