Waiting Parents: Justin and Lesley
Hi! We are Justin and Lesley and we thank you for taking the time to get to know a little about us. We can’t imagine how difficult this time must be for you and we want you to know that the courage you have is incredible. We are honored for the consideration and wish you nothing but the very best along your journey.
We met 23 years ago at a restaurant where Lesley worked. After spending nearly every day together for the first 6 years, we happily made the decision to get married. We have spent many of those years spending quality time with family and friends and traveling. We don’t have any children yet, but are very excited to become first time parents.
Justin works as a general manager for an optometrist office and Lesley is a kindergarten teacher. Lesley is fortunate to have summers off and extended time off for spring break and holidays, and since Justin has worked with his company for 20 years, he is also grateful to have plenty of vacation days. This allows us to enjoy extra time with our family for the holidays and vacations throughout the year.
We have always dreamed of being parents, and while we haven’t been able to conceive on our own, we are very grateful that adoption will allow us to complete our family. We look forward to making new memories and are excited about the next chapter in our lives.

What I love about Justin is how he takes care of the ones he loves. He shares his full heart and goes above and beyond to help his family and friends with anything they ask of him. I have also always admired the relationship he has with his mom, and I knew that being married to him would mean that I would always feel safe and loved. I cannot wait to watch the relationship he is going to build with a child one day!
About Lesley, by Justin:
One thing I love about Lesley is her passion for taking care of others! From loving on her kiddos at school to always being there for her friends and family anytime she is needed. She has a God-given gift of knowing just what to do and when to do it. She has the kindest heart I have ever witnessed, and I know our child will benefit from that unwavering love just as I have.
We love our home and are blessed to live in Lesley’s grandparents house where lots of memories have been made. Our large backyard is the perfect place for our energetic and playful dog, Arya to run around. Everyone that comes over knows if you throw her a ball, you better be prepared to stay for a while, as she will keep going all night long! She is the sweetest little girl and we know she is going to be the best “big sister” one day!
