Waiting Parents: Heather and Will
Hello! We are Heather, Will and Wren and we feel so blessed that you are taking the time to read our profile! We hope that you feel loved as you look at our pictures and learn a little about us. We want you to know that we have been praying for you and for the sweet baby that you are carrying. We hope and pray that you will have peace throughout this entire process and that you will feel God’s love for you and your baby.
We have been married for a little over 6 years and each day gets better and more fun together. We met at the wedding of two of our best friends. We got married on September 23, 2016, which was only ten months after our first date! Will’s “dance moves” were one of the things Heather first noticed about him when they met. Heather was more entertained than she was impressed. We always knew we wanted to adopt, in fact Will brought it up on our second date! We adopted Wren through Lifetree in 2021. Since then, we knew we wanted to adopt with Lifetree again. It is our hope to provide a family environment that would allow our daughters to be each other’s best friends and biggest fans all throughout life’s journeys together. We love to be outdoors as much as possible and travel any chance we get. Wren has been such a natural part of the family and loves so many of the same things as her mommy and daddy. We take every chance we can get to go for a family walk, bike ride or to just play in the yard.
Heather is a stay-at-home mom taking care of Wren. She used to be a Nurse on a Transplant Floor. She would not trade this opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom and to be able to pour into our children daily. Each day is filled with new adventures to the playground, libraries or playdates with other moms and kids. Since marrying Will, Heather has now completed 4 Half-Marathons. Whenever she has some free-time, Heather loves to read and garden.
Will is an avid runner and triathlete. With multiple marathons and an ironman under his belt, he is frequently looking for his next race to train for. Will works as a Manager in a large consulting firm. He is blessed with a flexible work environment and often gets to work from home. He enjoys his job and is excited to see what the future holds at his company.
Wren is almost 2 years old and full of life, energy and giggles. Her favorite thing is to play with mommy and daddy together. Whenever we are both home, Wren is constantly asking for both of us so that we can all play together as a family. When one of us walks in her room in the morning, she is immediately asking for the other one too. She loves reading books, playing outside, swinging, going for walks and bike rides around the neighborhood. She also loves all of the play dates that her and Heather get to have during the week. We have been blessed with 10 wonderful nephews and nieces, 7 of which live in DFW. Wren loves to watch videos of her cousins and asks to see them as much as possible. Spending time with all of our sweet family members is a highlight of every week.
We cannot wait to welcome your beloved baby into our family and we are so thankful for what you are doing! We want you to know that we will love your child unconditionally and raise her with the kind of self-less love that Jesus shows us. Your child will know that she is truly loved by us. We know this cannot be an easy decision and we are incredibly proud of you and the brave decisions you are making. We hope that we can be part of your journey and provide peace with your decision.
