Waiting Parents: Sam and Jenny
We met on a dating app called Bumble, and our connection was instant and genuine from the very first conversation. We quickly discovered how much we had in common-our shared faith, love for family, and similar sense of humor made everything feel easy and meant to be.
We’ve now been married for over seven years, and our marriage has truly grown stronger through every season from raising kids, home projects, and plenty of adventures in between. We still make it a point to laugh together daily, pray together, and never take for granted the beautiful life God has given us. Sam works as an Accountant just a few miles from our home. Jenny is a former elementary school teacher turned stay-at-home mom. She finds joy in making everyday moments meaningful, whether it’s planning family adventures, decorating their home, or creating fun crafts and activities with the kids.
Our children
We have three amazing children who fill our days with laughter, energy, and love.
Claire Marie, our daughter, is full of imagination, kindness, and creativity. She loves art, playing house and “shows” for her brothers.
Adam, our middle child, is adventurous and playful—one is our little builder who’s always figuring out how things work.
Andrew, our youngest, is easygoing and joyful. He loves playing alongside his brother and sister and brings so much sweetness to our home.
Our kids have such loving hearts and can’t wait to welcome another sibling though adoption. They’ve already talked about sharing toys, reading bedtime stories and helping in every way they can.
Why we want to adopt
Adoption has been on our hearts for many years. We’ve always believed that family is built through love, not just biology. Our home and hearts are full, yet we’ve always felt there’s room for one more—a child we can love unconditionally and raise with the same faith, security, and joy we give our own.
We believe adoption is a beautiful reflection of God’s love—how He brings people together in ways only He can. We pray daily for the child and birth mom God has already chosen for our family.
What we love about each other
Jenny loves Sam’s steadiness, patience, and strong character. He’s the kind of person who leads by example—calm under pressure, devoted to his family, and incredibly loyal.
Sam loves Jenny’s warmth, creativity, and nurturing spirit. She brings life and energy to every space she’s in, and she creates a home that feels peaceful, inviting, and full of laughter. Together we balance each other perfectly-Jenny brings the heart and creativity while Sam brings the calm and strength that keep us grounded.
Our home
We live in The Woodlands, Texas, in a bright, family-filled neighborhood surrounded by trails, parks, and community events. Our home has five bedrooms, an open, light-filled living space, and a backyard where our kids love to swim and play on the swing set. We love to have friends and family over for casual BBQs on the weekends and kids riding bikes in our driveway with the neighbors.
Our family
Family is a big part of our lives. We’re blessed to have both sets of parents and siblings nearby, and we see them often for dinners, birthdays, church events, and holidays. Our extended family is loving, supportive, and so excited to welcome another little one through adoption. When we are not with them, we love spending time together as a family-riding bikes, exploring local trails, or relaxing by the pool. We also enjoy family walks, church activities, movie nights and spontaneous weekend adventures.

Our hearts are open, and our family is ready. We are so excited to welcome a child through adoption. We will love, nurture, and raise them in a home rooted in faith, laughter, and unconditional love. We believe every child deserves to feel chosen and cherished, and we would be deeply honored to be that family!
