Waiting Parents: Dave and Jenni
Hi Mama! We are Dave and Jenni and we are so excited and honored that you are taking the time to look at our profile! We have been best friends in love for 16 years and married for 14. Along with raising Dave’s 2 (now adult) daughters, we together have our 3 boys and are waiting to complete our family with our adopted child.
Our house is always filled with love and lots of laughter! We love spending time together as a family with game nights, time out at the pool, camping, traveling, and exploring new places. We also have 2 furry members of the family, Carl an Australian shepherd and Lulu a German shepherd mix who are very spoiled pups.
A bit about Jenni:
She loves to be silly, laugh and dance around the house with her kids. She now is a stay-at-home mommy who subs for the kid’s school district. In the past she has worked in early childhood education as a preschool teacher and assistant director. She loves her work, but it is so important to her that she stays home with the kids while they are young. She grew up in the suburbs or northern California with her parents and younger brother. She was a dancer from the age of 4-18 taking tap, ballet, jazz and hip-hop classes with a traveling group that performed at different schools and competitions.
A bit about Dave:
He is the ultimate nurturer and caregiver and is always taking care of the ones he loves. He has a science in technology degree and has a national title with the largest commercial construction company in the U.S. as a problem-solving coach. He was raised in Louisiana and grew up as the oldest of 8 siblings. As a kid he was always outside either playing with cars or Legos or out with friends playing basketball, football, or baseball.
We have always wanted a big family that supported each other, laughed with each other, and would be there for each other no matter the circumstances. In the past we struggled with fertility and chose to become foster parents in 2019. After making some amazing memories fostering, we finally made the choice as a family to move forward with our forever baby and pursue private adoption.
We are honored and grateful to you for taking the time to look at our page while you are weighing your options for you and your precious baby. We want you to know that if you choose to move forward with us, this child will be met with pure and unconditional love.
