Waiting Parents: Will and Madison

Hello! We are Will and Madison Lancaster. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us and consider whether we might be a good fit to raise your precious child. We recognize the decision you are making has likely come with a wide range of emotions. Please know that we hold this opportunity with both hopeful hearts and a deep sense of responsibility.

We met through mutual friends one night while Madison was visiting her sister at A&M. We hit it off right away and ended up pulling an all-nighter with her sister and Will’s best friend. We were hooked and never looked back. We dated long-distance for a couple of years and got married in September of 2018. Shortly after getting married, we bought a 3-bed, 2-bath home in a quiet and safe neighborhood filled with families in various life stages. We quickly adopted two puppies who have brought us so much joy. Murphy is our smart, fast, snuggly boy, and Penny is our sweet, fetch-loving, velcro girl.
We have both always wanted to be parents. When the efforts to conceive ourselves proved unsuccessful, we immediately became excited about adoption. We do not view adoption as a “second best” way to have children, but are eager and hopeful for God to bring us and our children together. We plan to talk about adoption and their story openly and honestly with our kids.

Will works as a manager in operations for a third-party healthcare administrator. He loves all things A&M sports, doing home projects, finding new high-quality movies and television shows to watch, spending time with his buddies, and being lazy at home with Madison and their dogs. Will is one of the best and funniest friends you could have. He initiates, does what he says he’s going to do, is loyal, and true.
Madison is an executive coordinator for a professional services firm. She enjoys trying new recipes, hosting friends and family, reading, and chatting with her sisters. Her love for the ocean runs deep, and some of our favorite days are spent on the beach with a good book. Madison is dependable, safe, servant-hearted, disciplined, organized, and generous with her time.

Will’s parents are retired in College Station, and his sister and her husband live in Austin. Every time we go back for an A&M football game feels like a family reunion. Madison’s parents, two of her three sisters and their families, and much of her extended family live in the DFW metroplex. Many of our Saturdays, especially May-September, are spent at her parents’ house, enjoying pool days with her sisters and their families.
