Waiting Parents: Elena and Zach
We are Elena and Zach. Thanks for taking the time to look into our lives! We have built an amazing life around our pups, family, friends, travel and work. However, a few years back we realized something was missing. It was a gnawing feeling at both of us and we realized God was calling us to adopt. We are so excited for what is to come and think daily of the little boy or girl who will change our lives.
We met at the University of Oklahoma 13 years ago and the rest is history. We dated all the way through college and after, getting engaged in 2014. We got married in Dallas in 2016 and it was the best day ever! Great family, friends, music, food… Easily both of us would relive that day!
Elena is a VP of sales at an advertising firm and Zach is a partner at a commercial nationwide roofing company. We both love our jobs and the flexibility it gives us. Both are family owned and operated!
Zach is goofy, kind and I don’t think has met someone who did not automatically love him. He is so hardworking but also the most thoughtful person ever. All of which is because his Dad was so amazing too! I thank God every day for giving me someone who makes life way more fun and someone who I want to be around after a good or bad day!
Elena is driven and the most loyal friend ever. She has friends from elementary school she still keeps in touch with and is close with. She is the most thoughtful person and is constantly doing things for others. She is also on the Board for Dallas CASA and volunteers for them.
Together we love to travel multiple times per year and experience new places together. We constantly go to the lake and ride the boat, jet skis and fish. We love to go hiking and camping with our two girls, lady and Bindi. They are THE best and make us smile every day. We are constantly around friends and family and live a few streets away from siblings and cousins in Dallas. Our Neighborhood is AWESOME. Close to restaurants and coffee shops but still feels like a quiet neighborhood.
