Waiting Parents: David and Amber
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us! We know this may be a difficult and confusing time for you as you try to figure out the best plan for you and your precious child. We pray you feel supported and loved no matter where you are in your journey. We have so much admiration for you for choosing life for your child. Should you choose an adoption plan with our family we want you to know that we promise to respect you and love you unconditionally free of judgement. We promise to love and cherish your child with all of our hearts. We have prayed for this child for many years as we have waited for God’s perfect timing. We promise that your child will be loved daily and we will always speak of your story with love. We promise to celebrate each milestone and provide a loving, safe home for your child. Know that we are continually praying for you and your sweet baby, that God will fill you with peace in whatever decision you make.
David and Amber began dating in high school over 20 years ago. We have 3 biological children ages 14, 12, 8. Adoption has been on our hearts since college. Our faith is the driver for everything we do. We are active in our church where our friends have become our family. They join us in praying for God’s guidance as we wait for His timing to complete our family through adoption.
In our family we celebrate big and believe in traditions. We love unconditionally. Our greatest joys come from watching our children do their favorite things. We encourage them to never be afraid to try new things. You can find us together at home playing games or watching movies if we aren’t with friends or exploring our city. Being outside is one of our favorite ways to spend time together. We enjoy playing at our neighborhood amenity center, being at the beach, or spending a day on the lake. We love to laugh. We believe laughter is the best medicine for the soul so we aren’t afraid to be silly and loud in our house. Our boys bring us constant laughter and we cannot wait to experience the memories and joy that this baby will bring to our family.
More than anything we want you to know your precious child will be loved unconditionally and it will be our privilege to devote our lives to providing her with all the love, security, and joy we can offer. We plan to raise this child with an understanding and appreciation for you and the sacrifice you are making for her. She will be loved beyond words by not only our family of 5 but also by our extended family and friends. Thank you for considering us. WE ARE PRAYING FOR YOU.
